HDFC Bank opens two new branches in Jammu & Kashmir

HDFC Bank, the country’s second largest private sector bank has opened two new branches at Pathwal and Reasi areas in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). With this, the bank now has 67 branches in J&K. The new branches set up in the rural areas will offer the full range of world-class banking solutions to meet the needs of the local populace. HDFC Bank has reported a rise of 23.11% in its net profit at Rs 2326.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 1889.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 14.94% at Rs 12789.98 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 11127.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
