UCO Bank reports over 5-fold surge in Q4 net profit

UCO Bank has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2014. The bank has reported over five fold jump in its net profit at Rs 284.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 49.56 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income of the bank has increased by 17.27% at Rs 5309.27 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4527.06 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the full year ended March 31, 2014, the bank has reported over two  fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1510.54 crore as compared to Rs 618.20 crore for FY13. Total income has increased by 10.43% at Rs 19550.42 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 17703.88 crore for the year ended March 31, 2013.
