TS Vijayan, chairman, Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (Irda) on Wednesday launched common service centre (CSC).
The CSC set-up under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) is envisioned to facilitate a platform for government, private and social sector organisations to integrate social and commercial goals and take the benefits of information and communication tools (ICT) to the remotest corners of the country.
IRDA had issued guidelines for utilising the CSC network in India in 2013.
