DCB Bank surges 6%; Q3 net profit dips 3%

The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs. 412.00 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs. 425.00 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.


DCB Bank was higher by 6% at Rs. 79 despite Q3 profit being lower by 3% on higher tax cost.

Total Income has increased from Rs. 4044.90 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 to Rs. 4770.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 80.6 and Rs. 78.1 respectively. So far 1461576(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2132 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.9 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.1 on 12-Jan-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 80.6 and Rs. 74.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.3 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.11 % and 42.59 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
