Force Motors climbs 7.4% after strong Q3 nos

The company recorded a rise of 174% in its net profit at Rs.27.4 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs.10 crore in the same period last year.

Force Motors climbed 7.4% to Rs.2,770 on BSE. The company recorded a rise of 174% in its net profit at Rs.27.4 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs.10 crore in the same period last year. The company's total income has increased by 44.2% at Rs.745.8 crore for the quarter against Rs.516.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

During the quarter under review, EBITDA were at Rs.47 crore compared with Rs.15 crore.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2708 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2834 and Rs. 2670 respectively. So far 117854(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3398.46 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3785 on 20-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1131.3 on 03-Feb-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2665 and Rs. 2352.5 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.12 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.61 % and 34.27 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
