HUL, M&M, Mastek among 21 Stocks in focus today

Stock Market
HUL: HUL will publish its Q3 results today. IIFL estimates the company to register net revenue of Rs. 8513 crore, a 9.5 % growth y-o-y while 7 % q-o-q.

Idea Cellular: Idea Cellular launched its high speed 4G LTE services across four more states in India (three Telecom Circles) – Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. 

Pipavav Defence : Saab has sold its 3.3 per cent stake in Pipavav Defence & Offshore Engineering Co. Ltd. to Reliance Defence Systems, which had made a tender offer for outstanding shares in Pipavav.


IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company: The company has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has been named the best company to work for in the UK, according to a survey of 400 British companies.

Mahindra & Mahindra: M&M has reportedly found a way to circumvent the Supreme Court order suspending registration of diesel vehicles with engines bigger than 2.0 litres.

Jindal Steel & Power Ltd: JSPL has cut employee salaries by 10% in order to reduce cost, reports a financial newspaper. Not only that, the salary disbursements are also being delayed, adds the business daily.

Federal Bank: Federal Bank has sold its loans given to Essar Steel worth INR 70 crore to Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC), according to a financial newspaper. The sale took place in December.

Mastek: Mastek reported its financial results for Q3 FY16 registering a drop in profit by 70% to Rs.0.8 crore vs  Rs. 2.7 crore q-o-q.The total income of the company stood at Rs.140.7 crore vs Rs.137 crore q-o-q.

Petronet LNG Ltd Petronet LNG  is aiming to add INR 25,000 crore to its topline in the next three years by selling cheaper gas to consumers currently using liquid fuels such as naptha and fuel oil, reports a financial newspaper.

Dalmia Bharat: KKR will exit Dalmia Bharat’s unlisted subsidiary in deal worth Rs 1,200 cr and will sell 15% stake to them via cash-cum-equity deal, as per reports.

Celestial Biolabs:The company said that they are already manufacturing and marketing Premium products in Herbal and Nutraceuticals range. The company said they established marketing & distribution network in India and decided to introduce manufacturing and marketing of 21 life saving drugs in Allopathic range covering,. Antibiotics, Analgesic & Anti-pyretics; Antiulcerants; Anti-Hypertensives; Anti-Diabetics; Anti-Fungal; Anti-Allergic; Anti-Emetic; Calcium Supplement; Steroid; Immune Suppressant and Topical Application for Wound Infection & Neurological disorders.

TCS: Tata Consultancy Services Japan announced that it has begun the deployment of a new communication infrastructure service called ASTEPLUG CI for Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation and is concurrently providing the service to Mitsubishi Corporation group companies. 

Kirloskar Electric:Kirloskar Electric Company has restarted its operations in Pune.

Marsons:The company announces its fortuitous association with industry pioneers such as Siemens, ABB, Sterling Wilson, Alstom and L&T; the company has entered into a pre bid tie up with Siemens for tenders worth nearly INR 1320 million and is hopeful that this w ill translate atleast Rs.792 mn worth of orders. 

Cyient: Cyient reported a consolidated net profit of Rs.86.8 crore while the consolidated total income stood at Rs.781.8 crore vs Rs.771.6 crore q-o-q. The company reported consolidated EBITDA At Rs.109.7 Crore, while clocking consolidated EBITDA Margin at 14.03% vs 15.2% q-o-q.

Gujarat Gas: Gujarat Gas Ltd is planning to start laying of gas distribution pipeline from tomorrow in the Union territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli, as per reports.

NHPC: The company has informed BSE that unit 3 of Chutak Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir which was under complete shutdown due to problem in water parts has started generation on January 12, 2016.

Talwalkars Better Value Fitness:The company has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zorba - A Renaissance Studio (Zorba) a chain of yoga studios having operations in Chennai. 

SpiceJet:The airline company announced the launch of two new flights from Jaipur and Hyderabad. With the introduction of these two new flights, SpiceJet now connects ten Indian cities with Dubai every day. 

Majesco:Majesco, a global provider of core insurance software, consulting and services for insurance business transformation, and Appulate, the leading provider of forms parsing and data bridging technology, announced a strategic partnership in which Majesco will offer Appulate Uplink as an integrated component of Majesco Policy for P&C and Majesco Distribution solutions.
