Jet Airways, Maruti Suzuki, Lupin among 25 Stocks in focus today

Jet Airways: Jet Airways (India), country's second-largest airline, reported standalone net profit of Rs. 467.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, registering growth of 640.15% yoy and 433.29% qoq.

Maruti Suzuki India: Maruti Suzuki India has dispatched the first shipment of its premium hatchback Baleno to Japan where it will be launched next month, reports a financial newspaper.

Lupin: The pharma company reported a net profit of Rs. 530 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.

Eicher Motors: The Indian automaker company based in Gurgaon, reported consolidated net profit of Rs. 270.80 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, registering growth of 76.11% yoy.

Metal stocks in focus: In a move to protect the domestic steel producers, the government has imposed a minimum import price (MIP) on steel products.

Biocon: Biocon is gearing up to enter the regulated markets of the US and the UK with a portfolio of biosimilars, reports a financial newspaper.

Sadbhav Engineering: Sadbhav Engineering, Gujarat based civil engineering construction company, reported standalone net profit of Rs.27.35 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, registering decline of 27.51% yoy, but growth of 4.43% qoq.

Tech Mahindra Ltd: Tech Mahindra Ltd. has entered into the mobile gaming entertainment space with the launch of a mobile gaming live streaming platform - mSportz.tv, under its Growth Factory initiative, reports a business daily.

Adani Power: Adani Power will soon sign a deal to set up two coal-based power units in Jharkhand for US$2.2-billion (Rs. 14,867 crore at Friday’s exchange rate), reports a business daily.

Divis Laboratories: The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 852.87 crore, up 7.81% yoy but down 11.56% qoq.

National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd: NBCC has identified 5-7 smart cities with three different business models for project execution, reports a business daily.

Lycos: Lycos has announced the intent to acquire TriTelA Gmbh, which owns consumer facing platform mysms, reports a business daily.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care: The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 713.70 crore, up 10.74% yoy and 19.24% qoq.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors plans to democratize the automatic technology as the demand for automatic is rising day by day. Tata wishes to take over Maruti and Hyundai in AMT.

J K Cements: The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 903.28 crore, up 13.1% yoy and 3.79% qoq.

Coal India, Indian Oil Corp: Coal India Ltd has signed an MOU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited in Kolkata for Manufacturing of Bulk Explosives.

ITC: ITC Ltd is planning to announce three greenfield projects in West Bengal next week, according to reports. The company is planning to invest more than Rs. 3,000 crore.

Texmaco Rail: Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited on Saturday reported a 140% increase in standalone net profit at Rs. 12 crore for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2015.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer: GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd will announce its financial results today. IIFL expects net revenue to soar to Rs. 1,094 crore at a rate of 8.1% yoy, but plunge 2.8% qoq.

M&M: M&M plans to build a premium SUV for Indian market with the help of the design firm Pininfarina SpA. The company plans to maintain its leading position in the SUV segment, hence, is in talks with its designer company Pininfarina SpA to build a premium SUV. 

Tata Power: Tata Power Ltd posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs. 244.60 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs. 1977.40 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.

Rallis India: The company has approved increase of the Company's stake in Metahelix Life Sciences, subsidiary of the Company, from 80.51% to 100%

AIA Engineering: The company will announce its Q3 results today. IIFL forecasts the company’s net profit for Q3 FY16 to fall at 21.8% yoy to Rs. 89.9 crore, but surge 0.8% qoq.

Sobha Developers: Sobha Developers Ltd, fully integrated real estate developer, reported consolidated net profit of Rs.32.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, registering decline of 46.59% yoy.

Punjab National Bank: The bank has raised Rs. 1500 crore Tier-2 (Basel III compliant) capital bonds at annual coupon of 8.65% on a private placement basis.

VA Tech Wabag: VA Tech Wabag posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs. 189.00 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs. 138.30 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.

Polaris: Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd will announce its Q3 results today. IIFL forecasts the company’s net profit for Q3 FY16 to decline at 0.9% yoy and 17.8% qoq to Rs. 38.9 crore.   

Vakrangee: Vakrangee Ltd, a speciality retail company, registered a 15% growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 102.8 crore vs Rs 89.3 crore yoy.

Ipca Lab: Ipca Laboratories Ltd, one of India’s leading drug makers, will announce its Q3 results today. IIFL forecasts the company’s net profit for Q3 FY16 to fall at 17.2% yoy to Rs. 34.8 crore; however, it is likely to increase 192.1% qoq.  

Inox Wind: Inox Wind Ltd, a heavy electrical equipment manufacurer, will announce its financial results today. IIFL forecasts the company’s net profit for Q3 FY16 to rise at 29.2% yoy and 45.9% qoq to Rs. 130 crore. 

Aarti Drugs: The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 256.72 crore, down 1.67% yoy.

Linc Pen & Plastics: Linc Pen & Plastics Ltd reported standalone net profit at Rs. 3 crore for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2015.
