Suzlon rallies 4%; to transfer holding in Suzlon Gujarat Wind Park to Suzlon Power

The company has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company, approved to transfer of entire equity shareholding in Suzlon Gujarat Wind Park Limited (SGWPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, to Suzlon Power Infrastructure Limited (SPIL), another wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. 

Suzlon Ltd stock was higher by 4% at Rs. 13.The company has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company, approved to transfer of entire equity shareholding in Suzlon Gujarat Wind Park Limited (SGWPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, to Suzlon Power Infrastructure Limited (SPIL), another wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Pursuant to this transfer, SGWPL would become a wholly owned subsidiary of SPIL and would continue to be a step down wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and transfer of entire 98% equity shareholding in Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL) to Suzlon Structures Limited (SSL), another wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.1 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.33 and Rs. 13.1 respectively. So far 3734309(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6461.39 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 30.25 on 08-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 12.8 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.55 and Rs. 12.81 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 21.1 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.64 % and 50.05 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
