Vedanta: The company will invest $500 million (nearly Rs 3,350 crore) in its zinc business, according to reports.

ICICI Bank: The bank is planning to raise Rs.25,000 crore in tranches by way of various instruments including bonds.

NBCC: The company has secured businesses worth Rs.19 billion in May.

Wipro: Wipro has informed BSE that the company the company will dispatch the letter of offer for the buyback to eligible shareholders appearing on the record date of May 6, 2016, on or before June 10, 2016.

Shree Global Tradefin: The company has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will consider sub-division of face value of Equity Shares from Re.5 each to Re.1 each, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Redington: Harrow Investment Holding, the promoter of the company, has sold over 5% stake in two separate open market transactions for Rs.219.4 crore, as per media report.

JSPL: Jindal Steel is seeking shareholders approval for sale of some assets, according to the media report. The company seeks nod to sell 1,000 MW power plant to JSW Energy.

Vikas Ecotech: The company has signed an MoU with a leading European company Narfigate Corporation, of Czech Republic under which Nafigate will transfer Hydal Technology to Vikas EcoTech Ltd.

Patel Engineering: With reference to the earlier letter dated June 06, 2016 regarding Outcome of Joint Lender Forum (JLF) Meeting, Patel Engineering Ltd has informed BSE that the JLF has decided May 26, 2016 as 'reference date’. Further, majority lenders have agreed that they shall approach their approving authorities for obtaining approval related to SDR.

Sterlite Technologies: The company has fixed Record Date as June 16, 2016 for purpose of determining entitlement of equity shareholders of Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) to receive shares of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited (SPTL) pursuant to Scheme of Arrangement for demerger of the Power Products and Transmission Grid Business of STL into SPTL.

Shreyas Shipping and Logistics: The company has recently entered into a Vessel Sharing Arrangement with Shipping Corporation of India on two of the services connecting East Coast of India to West Coast of India and vice versa with Persian Gulf with addition of new ports commencing with effect from June 9.

Prism Cement: The company has agreed to acquire 15.23% (post acquisition) equity stake for approximately Rs. 21 crores in BLA Power Private Limited ('BLA Power'), which is in the sole business of generating thermal power.

Crompton Greaves: The company said its shareholders have approved raising up to Rs.700 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: The bank expects about 20% growth in credit during the current fiscal, a senior executive said.

Aksh Optifibre: The company has approves in setting up new lens manufacturing facility, as per media reports.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited: BHEL has commissioned all the 3 supercritical units of 660 MW each at the 1980 MW coal-based Lalitpur Super Thermal Power Project (STPP) in Uttar Pradesh within a span of just 85 days. 

Nestle: Nestle has enters into partnership with China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba to boost its online sales, according to reports.

NTPC: NTPC reportedly said it is planning to raise around Rs. 20,000 crore in this fiscal.Out Of Rs. 20,000 crore, Rs. 6,000 crore would be raised from the overseas bond market and the remaining Rs. 14,000 crore from domestic market, says report.

Larsen & Toubro: L&T said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs.2,161 crore across various business segments.

Canara Bank: The bank has received CARBON OFFSET CERTIFICATE from M/s. Micro Energy Credits, USA for offsetting 305.27 Tonnes of CO2 Emissions and for designing & implementing a successful clean energy financing
program.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd: The company has raised Rs.10,00,00,00,000 (Rupees One Thousand Crores) through public issue of NCDs.
