Rasoya Proteins has received an approval for formation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) in Republic of Liberia, West Africa, subject to all necessary approvals. The board of directors at its meeting held on May 19, 2014, has approved for the same. The board also approved acquisition of Land in Republic of Liberia, West Africa, subject to all necessary approvals.
Further, it has also received approval for commencement of agricultural business in Republic of Liberia, West Africa, with partnership with Government of Liberia subject to all necessary approvals.
Rasoya Proteins presently sells whole wheat flour under Mejwani brand in western markets. The company is engaged in manufacturing of soya-based products and edible oil such as soya oil, soyameal and value added soya products.
