Sensex, Nifty pare losses

Some buying activity is seen in IT and healthcare sectors on BSE, while banking, capital goods, oil & gas, metal and auto sectors are showing weakness

11:38AM: The BSE Sensex is trading down 155 points at 24,561, while S&P Nifty is trading down 45 points at 7,314.
BSE Mid-cap is down 1.20% at 8,383, while BSE Small-cap is down 1.62% at 8,779.
Some buying activity is seen in IT and healthcare sectors on BSE, while banking, capital goods, oil & gas, metal and auto sectors are showing weakness.
Infosys, L&T, WiproTata Steel and Dr Reddy's Lab are among the gainers, whereas Gail, BHEL, M&M, ONGC, NTPC and SSLT are losing sheen on BSE.
