Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Tuesday due to extremely dull volumes in the market, though lower arrivals in the local trading houses and better closing in international trendsetters capped some losses in rubber prices to some extent.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 145.50/ kg and Rs 141.50/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of June delivery concluded at Rs 143 compared to its previous close of Rs 143.81, while July delivery closed at Rs 144.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 144.41 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
