Engineers India cracks after poor Q3 numbers

The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 368.37 crore, down by 7.52% yoy and 18.24% qoq.


Engineers India cracked 3% to Rs.162 on BSE. The company reported standalone net profit of Rs.62.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, registering growth of 3.6% yoy. The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 368.37 crore, down by 7.52% yoy and 18.24% qoq.

The scrip opened at Rs. 165 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 165 and Rs. 159.3 respectively. So far 337569(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5635.32 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 252 on 01-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 157.9 on 25-Aug-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 185 and Rs. 165.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.37 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.06 % and 10.58 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
