MOIL down by 2%; to set up solar power plant

The company will invest Rs.620 mn for setting up a 10.5MW solar power project for captive use for mines in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.


MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 189.8, down by Rs. 4.35 or 2.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 194.15 on the BSE. The company will invest Rs.620 mn for setting up a 10.5MW solar power project for captive use for mines in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

The scrip opened at Rs. 194.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 194.5 and Rs. 189.1 respectively. So far 19377(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3261.72 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.8 on 12-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 183.2 on 25-Aug-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 202.3 and Rs. 192 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.81 % and 10.19 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
