Katare Spinning Mills to commission 1MW solar power project

Katare Spinning Mills is all set to commission 1MW solar power project with tracking system for captive consumption. It will generate about 19 lakh units of electricity on annual basis which will result in saving of Rs 8 per unit for the company. This will be one unique combination to reduce the cost of production substantially and such type of experiment is for the bright future of textile industry and it is expected to set new benchmark in the industry. Katare Spinning Mills is engaged in spinning and cotton blending operations. The company offers cotton and synthetic yarn and is based in Solapur, India.
